Decisively deal with human-wildlife conflicts

Due to our proximity to the Save Conservanc­y, there are never ending conflicts between people and wild animals here in Middle Sabi, Chipinge. This includes elephants and lions. The perimeter fence around the Save Conservanc­y was destroyed by the Cyclone Idai-induced floods in 2019 and are yet to be repaired more than a year down the line.

Editor, last week you carried a story on how the brave women of Nyanga are making an impact in the mining sector there. I was impressed by their passion and determinat­ion.

Who said only men should be working in the mines? This is the attitude that is required if the country is to attain Vision 2030.

Please do something to encourage physical distancing in the Zupco buses.
