Missing woman found dead

A MISSING Concession woman was on Friday found dead with her hands tied with a white cloth in a stream.

Mashonaland Central deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Fidelis Dhewu con rmed the case.

“I can con rm that we found Winnie Magadu of White Cli Farm, Concession, dead near a stream after she was reported missing three days before by her husband Foster Chaka (25),” Dhewu said.

The body was discovered by a passer-by who was looking for wild fruits.

Chaka positively identi ed his wife’s body, which was in an advanced state of decomposition.

Police are appealing for people with information about the incident to help them with investigations. —
