De ant prison o cer caged

A BINDURA prison o cer allegedly de ed a court order a day after he was prohibited from physically assaulting his wife by a local magistrate.

Johannes Chandiwana appeared before magistrate Ethel Chichera, who remanded him out of custody to November 4.

According to state papers, Chandiwana was on October 14 ordered not to physically assault his wife Sarudzai Fani, but the next day the prison o cer went on to batter Chichera.

He allegedly insulted his wife calling her a prostitute before slapping her with open hands in the face.
