- BY SHARON SIBINDI

IN the heart of a bustling city where the clamour of daily life often drowns out the whispers of the soul, songstress LaDee, an emerging musical artist, nds her muse amidst the silent cries of the brokenhearted.

With a spirit as resilient as her melli uous voice, LaDee embarks on a journey not just of musical creation, but of healing and hope.

Her latest song titled ob’Inhliziyo, a poignant ode to the fractured souls among the people, serves as a beacon of light in the pervasive darkness. She believes that through her music, she can o er solace to those who have endured loss, trauma, and adversity, and in doing so, weave a tapestry of peace and reconciliation.

“We are broken souls trying to live a happy life… So the reason why I wrote ob’Inhliziyo is that there are many broken souls out there. Some lost their loved ones,” LaDee said.

“Others have childhood traumas while others are less fortunate

“So on that song, I’m actually asking God to heal the broken hearted so we have a peaceful life.”

Her voice, imbued with emotion, rose into the silence, a solitary plea for peace and healing.

ob’Inhliziyo…. I can say there are also things that I probably haven’t healed from,” she said. “I'm asking God to heal the hearts of those hurt. “I think I have been touched a lot, the stories I get to hear and see.

“We are broken souls trying to live a happy life. “With all being said, at times it’s okay to talk about things that hurt us and also pray about them.”

rough her music, LaDee has touched the lives of many, o ering a glimmer of hope in the darkness, a reminder that even the most fractured soul can nd peace and joy in the melody of life.

“I have been working with the most talented and amazing people in the city.

“On the song I featured NTU2KAY, one talented guy who’s doing amazing work; we also have LungzD on the mixing and mastering.
