ZINWA and the responsible authorities should do something about the unsafe water in Harare. I wonder what these guys have been doing with the money we pay them. — David M.

*** This Mawarire guy is a clown, a dangerous clown for that matter and a coward, too. I think the reason why he is back in the country is to try and cause more disturbances as per instructions from his paymasters. This time around, if he tries to pull his funny stunts and encourages violent protests, he should just be thrown into prison. — Cde Mangwende.

*** I think Pasuwa did a great job with the Warriors. Zifa is just using him as a scapegoat. In my view, they were responsible for the team’s demise. Lack of proper preparation was the main cause of our early exit from Afcon. — Mutengwende. *** The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education should make an effort to explain to parents the new changes in the education curriculum. We want to know what our children will be learning because there seems to be a lot of confusion in the education sector at the moment. — Simba Mafa.

*** As Zimbabwe, we are still an under-developed third world country and when we try to implement policies that are used in developed countries, I do not think there will be room for improvement. Incorporating local languages to teach pupils cannot be the way to go. In China, they have their own textbooks written in their own languages. Therefore, using their language to teach students does not have an impact as they develop their own economy. The same cannot happen here where we need as much foreign aid as possible. Please do not confuse our children. For someone to grasp the English language, it has to start at grassroots level. Why can’t you improve on the English language so students understand better rather than go in the opposite direction. — Madamu, Beitbridge.
