THE Bulawayo City Council is synonymous with misfiring.

The authorities there are of the opinion that they deserve stateof-the art tablets and WiFi at their homes although a majority of them have no idea how to use the laptops they were given in 2013.

Apparently, the laptops have become too heavy for the 29 councilors to carry. We wait to see how these “bulky” machines will be disposed of.

In their intelligence, or lack of it, the councilors also think that the mayor, councilor Martin Moyo, should be driving a Mercedes-Benz GLE 250, considering that he has the heroic task of superintending over the Bulawayo rot.

If the city fathers do not see the irony of swimming in luxury in this kind of economy, what exactly are they doing in office?

Bulawayo residents must be regretting the day they voted such lame minds into office. But they need only to hang on for a little longer before they can vote for better leadership. 2018 is around the corner.

Meanwhile, may someone please tell Joice Mujuru to zip her mouth? The damage she is causing herself every time she opens it is nothing short of phenomenal.

Now that the nation now calls her Queen Bee at her own behest, what right thinking person will vote for her come 2018?

Oh, and she is a wounded toothless lioness.

“One pondo zvayo tsvuku handina kumboiona. Mutasa would receive the money … it caused a lot of talk within the party,” she moaned to her dwindling supporters in Bindura last week. What a double tragedy. According to Dr Mujuru, her male colleagues wanted to sexually abuse her but would still not take care of her material needs as the Queen Bee.

Hell hath no fury like a bee scorned.
