Succession: Nothing succeeds like success

-

I COULD not agree more with your editorial comment in the last issue on what makes great leadership.

We cannot continue to remain indifferent to the state of our economy.

We cannot continue to talk politics without putting leadership on the crucible.

It is surely the person who will demand from the people and galvanise them to sacrifice for a better future where opportunity is available for the bold and not only the connected.

A mindset that rewards hard work and respect entrepreneurship.

We are looking forward to leadership that is practical and ethical.

We have to appreciate that “Nyika Vanhu, Musha Matare”. We have to embrace the human in us “Unhu” and build consensus through consultation and iteration.

We have to take an Agile Approach to building Zimbabwe.

Consult the people, craft solutions and products together, implement and come to the consultation again and so the cycle continues until we come to a scalable process for building Zimbabwe that continues to include people.

People must own and participate. Lets not borrow from too far for we have it all within us without ownership the hard working patriotic people of Zimbabwe will not see why they have to sacrifice “Chisi chako masimba mashoma”. Let’s get on with it “action creates miracles”. Wilson Magaya.
