ONE just hopes the Zanu-PF special Congress will go according to plan and everyone in the party sorts out their differences. This infighting that has been going on will destroy the party if left unchecked. — Kimberly, Mutoko

Zinara owes us an explanation. I was on my way from Botswana the other day, and guess what? I was told to pay US$10 at the border. US$10 for what? I asked the Zimra officer who was attending me. She could not explain satisfactorily. Now, Zinara, why should I pay a road access fee just because I have driven out of Zimbabwe and back? Do I cease to be Zimbabwean whenever I come from a foreign land? Zinara is milking us. If I pay for the licence disc and then pay US$2 per tollgate (and there are about five from Harare to Plumtree) is that not reason enough for me to use our roads? Why should I pay extra to “access” the road? And what is Zinara doing with that money anyway? Zinara is milking us and no one wants to be milked. —

I was glad to learn that President Mugabe has created a ministry to deal with cyber security. This area has been worrisome to some of us peace-loving Zimbabweans. Cyberspace is being abused with potential to cause a lot of harm. Imagine how that single message in September was enough to cause panic-buying and price spirals. We need serious efforts to combat and counter such evil mischief. Look at countries

like China. Mischief-makers can be traced because of tighter registration requirements for social media. No one uses a pseudonym or any other funny moniker when registering. It’s the real deal. — Cyber Chief

*** Dynamos, do not put all your eggs in one basket. It’s an old saying which we take and dust from drawers when faced with situations like these. Samazi, we will not buy the Epoupa excuse if we do not land the big one. — Eliah
