Mugabe needs a psychiatrist

-

EDITOR — I am shocked that after that November 18 march where the masses came out in full force to demand that Mugabe resigns, the old man still believes that he still has people who want him.

Bob, will you please take a couple of chill pills, relax and enjoy your pension in peace. If Mr Mugabe did not want to resign, he should just have refused and let things take their course.

I think the same people who had captured him in the first place are back at it again. The old man might be saying he is isolated, but that is not the case: there are selfish and greedy people who are pressuring him to cause unease not just in the country but the world over.

While President Mnangagwa is busy trying to forge friendships across the globe, this old man is being used to disturb the progress that has been made so far.

You have been in power for over three decades, it’s now time to give others a chance to lead.

These current attempts bring me to doubt if Mr Mugabe had the people at heart all along. If this guy loves Zimbabwe and its people, and is not just looking out for his interests, he should be on the same page with the current dispensation, helping them out in any way he can, rather than working against it.
