ZANU-PF has managed to charm a number of individuals, organisations and countries with its way of doing business.

Today, only the lucky ones will get special mention in this reputable publication, on this special corner.

The fiery National Vendors Union of Zimbabwe president Mr Stan Zvorwadza savaged the opposition parties this past week at a symposium on peace and the 2018 harmonised elections in the capital.

For their continuous bickering and whining, Mr Zvorwadza labelled them hypocrites of the highest order, those who wait only for election time to sing about electoral reforms.

He said opposition politicians are fighting Government for personal benefit ever since they were left out of the new Government.

It seems like the bright light has finally shone on Mr Zvorwadza’s way to Damascus.

While he is still in that tell-all mood, can someone please ask Mr Zvorwadza to tell the vendors on our streets that we would really appreciate a clean city.

Meanwhile, the NewsDay on Friday reported that the MDC Alliance has hailed the ZANU-PF party’s 2018 election manifesto, saying that it “speaks to people’s issues”.

This kind of acknowledgement, coming from the opposition political parties, is nothing short of an endorsement of the ruling party. And then the fact that it was coming from the opposition parties’ former mouthpiece is ground breaking.

Still in the MDC, why does Nelson Chamisa enjoy seasoning everything he says with sexism? If he is not offering his 18-yearold sister as a victory trophy, he is thinking of impregnating every woman at his rallies.

While ZANU-PF is offering jobs and economic development, he is offering a disempowered female populace. It’s a great shame.
