MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa stuck to his words and tried to soil the entire nation’s meal, causing the postponement of President-elect Mnangagwa’s inauguration.

But as it turns out, the meal is still very much edible. It’s a matter of delaying the inevitable and everyone knows it.

Business has been going on smoothly with the President carrying out his national duties as dictated by the supreme law of the land.

For the last couple of days, the President was in Namibia for a Sadc Summit. Zimbabwe was not on the agenda despite the hullabaloo coming from the opposition.

Regional leaders actually applauded Zimbabwe for holding free, fair and credible elections.

Chamisa must be fuming. How dare Zimbabwe moves on so effortlessly while he is trying to hold it at ransom!

Nevertheless, we hear he dispatched a three-member delegation to lobby the Sadc leaders on his imaginary situation of Zimbabwe. Those are the last kicks of a dying donkey.

Meanwhile, two South African lawyers are in the country to represent the MDC Alliance leader in his Presidential court challenge. The two advocates are reportedly set to lead the legal team contesting President Mnangagwa’s victory in the July 30 harmonised polls.

We are told, or rather threatened, that more lawyers from Kenya and Zambia are heading for Harare to join the legal team.

What does this importation of legal brains say about the local lawyers who have been seized with this matter all along, the team fronted by one Thabani Mpofu? Are they not good enough for Chamisa?

Does Chamisa have enough confidence in them? How does the local team feel about this obvious vote of no confidence?

Varikudirana mavhu ikoko!
