Thanks Cde President on dialogue

-

WE JUST want to commend President Emmerson Mnangagwa for opening a national dialogue with opposition parties.

Such action shows maturity on the part of The President and we are also encouraging other political parties to be open for dialogue.

We believe that no problem is difficult to solve when people agree to talk on the same platform.

Talking is the beginning of resolving outstanding issues, despite the fact that we might not agree on everything.

We would have loved young Nelson Chamisa to attend the meeting so that we also hear his side of the story.

We are saying Chamisa should think twice and understand that such meetings are not for personal glory, but for the betterment of the lives of Zimbabweans. I think, in future, he should not decline to attend such meetings.

We would like to commend Zanu PF and President Mnangagwa for the good gesture.

It does not mean that all the problems will be solved by dialogue, but some issues will be given due attention and the platform affords us to mend relations which is good for peace and unity.

While we acknowledge that The President had other commitments, it would also have been great to have him at the Rainbow Towers national leadership prayer breakfast meeting.

But since he is the one who has taken the lead on the dialogue issue, we are confident we will get to agree on issues affecting the nation. National Patriotic Front president,

Engineer Peter Munyanduri.
