Motor Action: Merrymakers’ paradise
MOTOR Action is a leisure spot that needs no introduction: it has become one of the most popular Sunday destinations for merrymakers in the capital.
While a lot has been said about the electric party vibe at the joint, it is becoming more popular for something else.
For many celebrities and socialites, the Motor Action Sundays have become the gig of choice for hosting their birthday parties.
No surprise there considering the creativity that is being displayed in the production of these parties, with organisers bringing in different and interesting concepts for every bash.
This coming Sunday, the Bodyslam Family takes over the joint as they host DJ Trouble’s Black and Gold Birthday Party. The entertainment brand is known for organising vibrant parties.
This comes hard on the heels of Boss Spencer and Dollabill’s joint lavish birthday bash, which was held at the venue recently.
Royal is the suitable word to describe this party as elegance and prestige characterised the event. From the moment one arrived, before even entering the venue, the luxury cars that were trickling into the carpark spoke volumes about what was to be expected inside. Merrymakers came dressed to the nines. The venue itself had been transformed into an exquisite set-up, with the VIP and VVIP sections decorated in a manner befitting such an occasion.
The birthday boys and their close circle were set up on a higher platform close to the stage, where everyone could see exclusive bottles and expensive champagne being popped.
They certainly do not call him Boss Spencer for nothing, this party revealed the reason why as hundreds of merrymakers came through to celebrate his special day.
Celebrities and socialites, including Ginimbi, Simba Bodyslam, Chief Albert (Albert Ndabambi), Mike Chimombe, Patrick Murenga and Madhindo, to name just a few, were also in the thick of things.
There was entertainment galore, with various DJs and artistes taking to the stage till the wee hours of Monday morning.
