Money is definitely a life issue

-

AT the centre of life, there is money — it is one of the most fundamental issues.

Every adult person — educated or uneducated, black or white, whatever class they may be — is looking for money. Life on earth, therefore, revolves around money.

This is a subject we must dissect until we impart knowledge and wisdom on how to accumulate and handle money. People also need to be taught how to be free from money as it has many slaves.

The love of money is said to be the root of all evil.

Is this really true? But who does not love money?

It is safer, therefore, to understand the difference between needing money and loving it. Where the word love becomes involved, there are a lot of emotional issues at play. Matters to do with love are matters of the heart. When your heart is now possessed by money, nothing else other than money will matter to you.

Get this, money on its own is never evil. The love of money, however, will eventually conceive evil.

Money has got so many uses. In fact, money is the answer to most of our questions and problems in life. Does it solve most of the problems? Yes! Are there problems that money cannot solve? Of course yes.

When we look at the world we live in today, money is the medium of exchange, which makes it the most important thing to everyone.

For one to be said to be successful, they have to be moneyed. This is because at the end of the day, success and prosperity are anchored on how much money one earns.

In world economics, they say the prosperity of a nation depends on the prosperity of the residents of that nation, at an individual level. Individual financial prosperity determines whether a country is regarded as rich or poor, regardless of how much gold the country sits on. As long as its citizenry is tattered and torn, then the country is rated poor.

We shall, therefore, dwell more on how to acquire and accumulate wealth for financial prosperity.

The accumulation of wealth is dependent on how much you know about it. The more you have known about money, the more you are likely to accumulate it. You can never be wiser than your level of understanding, therefore, you can only act in accordance with what you know and understand. There are laws that govern the acquisition of money, and it becomes plentiful to those who understand these laws.

Wealth is power. With wealth you can achieve many things in this life, therefore, money must be sought. It is the ways of seeking it that need to be correct. Others have killed for money.

Recently, a man is said to have killed two of his two-year-old daughters as a way of sacrificing to a sangoma in order to become rich. Soon afterwards he acquired many buses.

People do all sorts of evil things for money. Some have cheated on their spouses for money. Some have robbed banks, others betrayed friends, and relationships have collapsed because of money.

Money has a spiritual side and anyone who wishes to accumulate it must be acquainted with that. Every business person, be they religious or non-religious, believes in the spiritual principles that govern money. That is why they regularly give donations, etcetera. This is a subject for another day, when we shall discuss issues to do with acquisitions and accumulation of money, and how to spring your way up from rags to riches in no time. It is very possible, there are testimonies on that.

Know this — there has to be a limit to your wants and desires. What we call “necessary expenses” might continue to grow to equal our earnings if we do not control them. Never confuse necessary expenses with desires.

To acquire money, you have to be willing to work for it with all your strength, skills and knowledge. You also need to cultivate a strong desire to build wealth and a legacy.

Always remember that a small and safe return is far more desirable than a risky one.

Quote of the week: Just as weeds grow in a field when the farmer leaves space for their roots, desires do the same in men.
