George Shambare on “Tony Blair warms up to President” — I have followed Mr Blair’s thinking and personality. I like him and I have been praying that he be better understood.

I am excited he is reaching out to Zimbabwe.

Let both parties not squander this opportunity. It is really exciting.

Mr Blair is sincerely reading things differently. He is a visionary. I am also happy that the British High Commissioner is a peacemaker. Great!

T Machona on “Prices remain stable” — The impact of the foreign currency auction system on prices has been huge. This ensures that as consumers we get value for money.

There is nothing that is as disheartening as having to pay more for the same product every time I walk into a shop.

The uncertainty of prices in supermarkets makes it difficult to budget and is a headache every consumer never wants to suffer from.

So this auction system will help curb speculative tendencies that had taken root in our economy, preserve value for money and ensure that no one is defrauded in broad day light.

Jason Peterson on “SA envoys welcome . . . Malema, Khama offside” — Well said Cde Victor Matemadanda. We are sick and tired of non-Zimbabweans who are always on our case.

We have never meddled in the political affairs of their countries or political outfits and it is ironic that they are always trying to seek cheap mileage through denigrating our systems and leadership.

Malema should concentrate on his political outfit and the same goes for Seretse Khama Ian Khama.

We all know how Khama is a darling of the British and that Malema is an opportunist.

It is interesting to note that these fellows are always silent or do not make so much noise when there are clear cases of human rights violations in the West.

The Second Republic should not be distracted by such noise and must continue on its path to ensure that the economy recovers.

Malema and Khama can shout themselves hoarse, but Zimbabwe will remain for Zimbabweans and the problems in the country do not need a foreign hand.
