I read with shock the rate at which armed robbers are getting bail from the courts. It seems the justice system has collapsed and corrective action needs to be taken as soon as possible. Lawyers also seem to be conniving with judges, magistrate­s and prosecutor­s to let dangerous criminals off the hook. Our country cannot be seen to be giving protection to criminals. I have a strong message to some reckless drivers whom we encounter everyday on our roads. It is fair to say Zimbabwe has a good number of reckless drivers who speed, overtake dangerousl­y and do not care a hoot about other people’s lives. Lawmakers should impose stiffer penalties against reckless driving.— Givancho.
