Let’s work on our mind

It is so depressing when you or your loved ones fall ill.

HOWEVER, this is the most important time to feel and give love to those affected. When some people fall ill they oftentimes want to isolate themselves, but they do not necessarily have to be neglected because the more they feel isolated, the more it worsens their pain.

It can lead to a fast death.

Love can heal, and showing love to the stricken can be therapeutic as it can make them realise the need to stay strong and fight the illness.

In these trying times we are living, sometimes having conversations makes one heal faster. Being open about how difficult the current times are and sharing experiences could help overcome challenges and make some of those who are ill stronger.

It is both an assurance and acknowledgement to those affected that they are not alone. We should always prepare for difficult and tough times because they exist.

Medical aid schemes are very important because we always do not have the money to deal with situations when they arise.

We are likely to fall ill anytime, even at times when we do not have money.

Sickness does not mean the worst will happen.

But it depends on one’s state of mind. If you convince yourself that cancer unfailingly kills, it will surely kill you when you are diagnosed with the disease. The same applies to the coronavirus. If you believe that Covid-19 kills, then you shall surely die upon learning that you are positive.

It is important to know that if one person you know died of a particular disease, it doesn’t mean you shall also die when you contract it.

It differs.

Some might actually fall sick for a long time but recover, only to die very strong and healthy when people least expect them to die. Let us reset our minds and never allow any diagnosis to affect our health and deny ourselves the chance to live.

Never be a slave to wrong information, for that is the source of death, not the illness, especially in this current pandemic.

Remember to protect yourselves and be wary of your movements.

When you are ill, it is not the end of the world, but what is important is the type of information that you will feed on now.

Words can build or destroy, so be careful of what you choose to believe.

Let us not be stubborn by ignoring the authorities; they are only looking after our interests. Adhere to these health protocols; you won’t regret your choices.

Make wise decisions for the benefit of you and your family. Stay safe and take care.

Quote of the Week: Never be a slave to wrong information, for that is the source of death, not the illness.
