FOREIGNERS are reportedly enquiring whether they can be vaccinated locally following an expansive immunisation programme in Victoria Falls.
The Government chose to include ordinary citizens in the resort town to boost tourism, and the second phase of the vaccination programme was, therefore, duly launched there on Wednesday.
Tuesday
Government has emphasised the need for credible information to be disseminated to the population for the country to win its fight against the coronavirus.
This was said by Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga, who is also the Minister of Health and Child Care, while officiating at the launch of Covid-19 awareness stamps in Harare.

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (Zinwa) has temporarily introduced water rationing in Beitbridge to avert a water crisis following a major electrical fault that affected a transformer that powers its water treatment plant.
In a statement, Zinwa said when the fault occurred on Tuesday, most of the water reservoirs in the town were half full.

This emerged after a high-level meeting between President Mnangagwa and his Botswana counterpart Mokgweetsi Masisi at State House in Harare.

Zimbabwe is now set to take delivery of one million vaccines per month as part of its goal to inoculate 10 million people to achieve herd immunity.
The plan is buoyed by DHL International’s offer to transport the vaccines at concessionary tariffs.
This was said by Finance and Economic Development Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube in a statement on Thursday.
