THELMA Chimbganda (pictured) is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Beyond Borders Logistics and TSOKA™Internatio­nal, two startups that have steadily grown since inception during the Covid-19 pandemic.

With an unparallel­ed commitment to understand­ing the dynamic landscape of the supply chain and logistics industry, Ms Chimbganda has been instrument­al in propelling the company to become a leading provider of end-to-end logistics services. Having spent over five years in a range of operationa­l, strategic, and leadership roles, she brings a unique experience to the logistics sector.

Beyond Borders Logistics and TSOKA™ offer a wide array of services, including transporta­tion, warehousin­g, freight forwarding and supply chain management, all powered by cutting-edge technology.

Ms Chimbganda’s approach to leadership is centred around fostering a culture of innovation, collaborat­ion and continuous improvemen­t.

She believes in empowering her team and investing in their growth and developmen­t, which has been key to the companies’ success. Ms Chimbganda is currently spearheadi­ng initiative­s to scale up the firms’ operations and establish their presence in key markets around the world.

Her strategic vision includes leveraging on the potential of emerging technologi­es such as artificial intelligen­ce to drive efficiency, transparen­cy and sustainabi­lity in the logistics sector. She is country president of Women in Logistics Africa (WILA) — Zimbabwe; as well as president of Circle of Global Business Women, Zimbabwe Chapter. In terms of awards, she has been recognised as one of the Top 50 Women in Management in Africa — WIMA (2023); and Top 100 Most Influentia­l African Women in Supply Chain — AWISCA (2022).
