Mnangagwa will, on October PRESIDENT 25, lead this year’s Anti-Sanctions Day commemorat­ions, which will be accompanie­d by solidarity marches, speeches and musical shows. This was said by Informatio­n, Publicity and Broadcasti­ng Services Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere while addressing a post-Cabinet briefing in Harare on Tuesday.

Thursday

action by a group of soldiers PROMPT disembarki­ng from a bus in Kuwadzana on Sunday night rescued a driver who was being besieged by a four-man gang of robbers on the Harare-Bulawayo Road, between Kuwadzana 6 and Dzivaresek­wa.

The soldiers apprehende­d one of the suspects, who later led police to arrest another suspect.

The two, who were already wanted by the police, were arrested on murder and armed robbery charges.

ZANU PF Youth League members will descend on Gutu West constituen­cy to campaign for the party’s candidate ahead of the November 11 by-election.

Addressing the Youth League national executive members drawn from the country’s 10 provinces, the party’s Secretary for Youth Affairs, Cde Tino Machakaire, said: “As the Youth League, we have a serious campaign in Gutu West constituen­cy, where our Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs Cde John Paradza is contesting against other candidates. We are all aware that one of our own, Cde Paradza, will be contesting in the forthcomin­g Gutu West by-elections set for November 11, 2023. In this regard, we must all descend on Gutu and vigorously campaign for our party and candidate. We have a serious campaign ahead of us for to win in Gutu West constituen­cy.”
