THE Zimdancehall national Cup Clash, which will be held at the City Sports Centre in Harare on December 23, is among the most awaited musical shows scheduled for the festive season.

Organised by Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza, of Chipaz Promotions, the cup clash has always proved to be a dog-eat-dog affair.

A chanter who is going to be judged the best will walk away with a brand-new car.

Organisers started registration of participating artistes on December 12 in different areas and the process is expected to close on December 20.

Both new and established artistes will get a shot at the two vehicles on offer.

Leading the impressive line-up of veterans will be the likes of Seh Calaz, Blot, Silent Killer, Jah Master and Dobba Don.

Chimbodza reckons the cup clash will determine the best Zimdancehall artiste in the country.

“The artistes will do the work on stage and the fans will be the judges. Registration of participating artistes is currently ongoing.

“The event is open to everyone, both upcoming and veteran chanters. As organisers, we are ready to host such a big event. This is our Christmas present to both fans and musicians,” said Chimbodza.
