Surrender to God

-

“TRUST in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”— Proverbs 3:5

Trusting in God is believing what He has said, what He says or is saying to you, about you, your family, your business, work, your nation etc.

Let Him be the supreme authority in all areas of your life. Let the Word of God be the final say in all things.

Believe His Word, and do as He says and it will be well with you. In all your walk, be led by the word of surrender and submit totally to Him.

You must trust God, even when you do not understand His plan for your life. The verse tells us not “to lean on your own understanding”, which means that we should not try to figure everything out on our own. Instead, we should put our trust in God, even when things do not make sense.

Trusting in the Lord with all our hearts is having complete faith and trust in God with a humble heart.

This is an important part of trusting in God, because it means we are willing to submit to His will and not rely on our own pride or ego.

We should seek wisdom from God in all areas of our lives, and He will help us make the right decisions, as the verse points out “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Your own mind or understanding is human or may be carnal, and is too small to get you where God wants to take you.

Only His Word will get you there. Let the Word of God direct you always. And remember: Acting against His Word is stubbornness or rebellion against God and can cost you a lot.

Trust in the LORD always.
