Zimpapers to hold careers, skills expo
ZIMPAPERS will next week hold the highly anticipated Zimpapers 2024 Careers and Skills Expo for job hunters and career seekers at the Harare Polytechnic, with organisers describing the event as a “gateway to empowerment”.
The transformative event will take place on February 16 and 17.
In a statement, Zimpapers said the dynamic expo is designed to equip citizens with knowledge, skills and resources needed to thrive in today’s ever-evolving job market.
“Whether you are a student, a recent graduate seeking your first step on the career ladder, a seasoned professional looking to upskill or an entrepreneur brimming with new ideas, this expo has something for you,” it said.
Participants will be afforded the opportunity to explore a comprehensive range of training programmes, certifications and educational pathways across various industries, as well as discover cutting-edge courses in fields like information technology, business management and public speaking.
They will also gain valuable insights into emerging education and career trends, and discover innovative approaches to personal fulfilment.
Further, the expo will help with knowledge of in-demand courses and employability skills. Zimpapers public relations and communications manager Mrs Pauline
Matanda said the expo will equip participants with skills to stand out from the crowd and make a lasting impression.
“This is your chance to unlock your full potential and take control of your future,” she said.
“The Zimpapers 2024 Careers and Skills Expo is more than just an event; it’s a gateway to empowerment. Network with leading companies, connect with training providers and gain practical advice from career coaches.”
