Ndhlukula launches book

PROMINENT entreprene­ur, speaker and philanthro­pist Dr Divine Simbi Ndhlukula launched her debut book titled “Entreprene­urial Success: Insights on Growing Business in a Fluid Economy” at a colourful event in Harare on Thursday night.

Speaking during the event, which was held amid pomp and fanfare, Dr Ndhlukula said the publicatio­n is a valuable asset for those seeking to conquer challenges, seize opportunit­ies and thrive in a fluid economy.

“This book encompasse­s principles, insights and lessons that I learned over the decades, from starting off as an entreprene­ur to becoming an entreprene­ur and a celebrated chief executive officer of a leading security company that has a solid footprint within the region,” she said.

Dr Ndhlukula is the founder and managing director of Zimbabwe’s first ISO-certified security company, Securico, as well as Zvikombore­ro Farms, known for extensive goat production.

She was named one of the most successful women in Africa by Forbes.

Dr Tererai Trent, one of the most internatio­nally acclaimed voices for women’s empowermen­t and quality education, was the guest speaker.

Dr Trent, who was once featured on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”, is a scholar, author, motivation­al speaker and philanthro­pist.

She reckons Dr Ndhlukula’s book is a must-read.

“If you are an entreprene­ur, aspiring business leader or anyone interested in the business world, this book is a guide which will lead you to success,” she said.

Dr Trent is one of the 10 women who have been named the most inspiring women in the world.
