Ndhlukula launches book
PROMINENT entrepreneur, speaker and philanthropist Dr Divine Simbi Ndhlukula launched her debut book titled “Entrepreneurial Success: Insights on Growing Business in a Fluid Economy” at a colourful event in Harare on Thursday night.
Speaking during the event, which was held amid pomp and fanfare, Dr Ndhlukula said the publication is a valuable asset for those seeking to conquer challenges, seize opportunities and thrive in a fluid economy.
“This book encompasses principles, insights and lessons that I learned over the decades, from starting off as an entrepreneur to becoming an entrepreneur and a celebrated chief executive officer of a leading security company that has a solid footprint within the region,” she said.
Dr Ndhlukula is the founder and managing director of Zimbabwe’s first ISO-certified security company, Securico, as well as Zvikomborero Farms, known for extensive goat production.
She was named one of the most successful women in Africa by Forbes.
Dr Tererai Trent, one of the most internationally acclaimed voices for women’s empowerment and quality education, was the guest speaker.
Dr Trent, who was once featured on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”, is a scholar, author, motivational speaker and philanthropist.
She reckons Dr Ndhlukula’s book is a must-read.
“If you are an entrepreneur, aspiring business leader or anyone interested in the business world, this book is a guide which will lead you to success,” she said.
Dr Trent is one of the 10 women who have been named the most inspiring women in the world.
