President Mnangagwa has expressed deep admiration for Botswana’s rich natural wonders and diverse wildlife following a twoday retreat in the neighbouring country’s Okavango Delta. The retreat, hosted by his counterpart President Mokgweetsi Masisi, capped off a high-level meeting between the two leaders on Friday under the Fourth Session of the Zimbabwe-Botswana Bi-National Commission.
Tuesday unit that will cater for patients with acute respiratory illnesses and relieve pressure on the institution’s already existing intensive care and high-dependency care units.

Strategic foresight and robust systems are integral to economic growth and sustainable development in a rapidly changing economic environment, President Mnangagwa told global thought leaders in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), during a keynote address to the World Governments Summit on Tuesday.
President Mnangagwa used the Zimbabwean
experience to illustrate how people-centred policies can improve the standard of living and turn around the economy.
Thursday
There is a need to increase trade with friendly countries as a strategy to counter illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by some powerful Western nations. Speaking to the media after meeting the leadership of the world’s leading free trade zone — the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre — at their headquarters, President Mnangagwa revealed that the UAE government institution is keen on marketing Zimbabwe’s minerals and being a gateway to the entire Arab region.
Friday
A Redcliff couple was found dead in their house on Thursday morning in a suspected murder case that has since led to the arrest of the couple’s driver and mechanic. The deceased couple — Mr Ken Chirashi and his wife Lorna — had just returned from the United Kingdom, where they were now based. Police said they were still on the ground carrying out investigations. Redcliff Town Clerk Mr Gilson Chakauya said he was one of the first witnesses after he visited the house of the now-deceased couple that was well-known in the town.
