TO catapult Zimbabwe towards the attainment of Vision 2030, Zimbabweans must strive to be better than the best by harnessing technology and employing competent personnel, President Mnangagwa has said.
He said this on Sunday as he hosted pastors from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, who visited and toured his Precabe Farm in Sherwood, Kwekwe.
Tuesday
Parliament has resolved to fast-track the revised Private Voluntary Organisations Amendment Bill, Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) (Protection of Children and Young Persons) Amendment Bill, and the Administration of Estates Amendment Bill, as the Second Republic moves to close potential gaps in the laws.
The three Bills were tabled before the National Assembly recently and went through their First Reading.

In line with President Mnangagwa’s high-performance culture, Cabinet ministers and heads of public sector agencies will this week (last week) sign their performance-based contracts, which are designed to nurture a high work ethic, accountability and good governance.
In 2021, President Mnangagwa introduced annual performance-based contracts.
Thursday
Deepening diplomatic ties are essential in fostering cooperation among nations and advancing mutual interests, President Mnangagwa has said.
On Wednesday, the President received letters of credence from the incoming ambassadors of Uganda, Austria, Mauritania, Vietnam and the Philippines at State House in Harare.

President Mnangagwa has hailed the national women’s cricket team for winning gold at the ongoing African Games in Accra, Ghana.
The Lady Chevrons made history by becoming the first team to win cricket gold at the African Games after beating South Africa in dramatic fashion on Wednesday.
