In the Zimbabwe Independent edition of October 9 under a story headlined Zacc targets US$7bn assets squirreled out of Zim, we reported that the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission was targeting US$7bn worth of assets locally. Zacc is in fact tracking assets worth US$4,5m said to have been acquired corruptly locally. †e US$7bn is an estimate of externalised assets based on information supplied by whistle blowers.
