IT’S A WEIRD WORLD

„ SPLASHING WITH PET SNAKE

EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Inbar (pictured) likes to cool off in her small backyard pool in Israel with her favourite swimming buddy — her pet python.

The 11-foot yellow serpent, named Belle, is one of her family’s many pets, living happily together on an animal sanctuary in an agricultural community in southern Israel.

She was named after Belle, the female character in Walt Disney’s popular animated film Beauty and the Beast, who dons a yellow ball gown in a famous dance scene in the movie.

Inbar said Belle is good company during a coronavirus lockdown that has kept schools closed over the past few weeks.

“It helps me pass the time because I really like to hang out with snakes and sometimes I help snakes shed (their skin) and I help them to be happy during coronavirus,” Inbar said.

Sarit Regev, Inbar’s mother, said the two grew up together.

“Inbar was raised with all these animals and she was raised with the snakes. When Inbar was little she swam inside the bath with the snake and now she has grown up and the snake got bigger, so they swim together in the pool. It’s very natural for us,” she said.

“There are people that say — ‘you are crazy, how can you do it, you don’t love your kids’,” Regev said.

“It’s a lovely life to live like this. When a kid grows up with animals he becomes a person that loves other people, he becomes a person that cares about others and not about himself,” she said. — Reuters.

„ WOMAN AMBUSHES FIANCÉ

Shoppers in Target got a bit of a shock recently when they saw a bride roaming the aisles — with a pastor and bridesmaid following behind her.

The unnamed woman was looking for her fiancé who was working in the store in Las Vegas.

Dressed in a white wedding gown, carrying a bouquet, she ambushed her partner while he was stocking shelves with Halloween costumes, demanding he marry her right there and then.

The eyebrow-raising scene was captured on camera and shared in two videos on TikTok by a user named @boymom_ashley.

It has since gone viral, with the footage being watched over five million times and garnering over 580 000 likes.

In one clip, the bride can be heard saying: “You put this ring on my finger two years ago and it’s time to do it or get out.

“Yeah we are getting married right now or I’m leaving, I’m out. I’m done, like if you don’t marry me this second. I brought a pastor, I brought Emily, she is my bridesmaid.”

By this point a crowd has gathered in the shop to watch the drama unfold.

The bride turns to the on-lookers and waves, explaining that she is just trying to get her guy to finally “commit”.

“We are getting married now, or like, it’s over,” she adds as her potential husbandto-be scratches his head.

People in the crowd applaud her bold move and cheer, encouraging the man to “do it”.

The couple then decide to take their conversation outside and as they walk away, the Target employee can be heard saying: “Could someone have told me about it?”

It Is not clear what happens next or whether the pair did in fact get married. — Mirror Online.
