key to selling the idea of the aviator, this welltravel­led, aged adventurer was creating his home, filled to bursting with remnants of past adventures and echoes of flying machines. The aim was to create a warm, cluttered, comfy space.

“The final look in CG was a balance of creating the cluttered cocoon, filled with warmth and light, while keeping the dark mysterious corners to give a sense of depth to the space and history of the character,” reveals director mark osborne. “Lighting supervisor adel abada worked with CG super Pascal bertrand and co-production designer Celine Desrumaux to perfect this incredibly complex setup.”
