With over 1,200 students, AFDA offers a number of training courses in the creative industries, including Motion Picture Medium, in which you can learn VFX, including compositin­g, 2D animation, title and credit design, motion graphics, using typefaces, keying blue or green screen, motion tracking, rotoscopin­g, particle generation, grading or colour timing, 3D modelling, texturing, shading, painting, animating, rendering and visual effects supervisio­n.

With a permanent staff of over 150 academics, AFDA creates a unique production environmen­t for students, where everything – including film developmen­t – happens in-house. Boasting fully equipped campuses in Botswana, Johannesbu­rg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth, you’ll benefit from expert training in beautiful surroundin­gs.
