Acne Studios by H&E Architects

Acne Studios’ new store in Sydney, designed by H&E Architects, reflects the characteristically minimalist design of the Swedish fashion house. Sited in an L-shaped space, it feels more like a gallery than a stock-filled store. An austere, contemplative palette defined by mill-finish stainless steel joinery and terrazzo flooring is complemented by custom furniture elements from British designer Max Lamb along with a repetitive grid of 700 “illuminated mushroom” lights by Benoit Lalloz.
