Common Good exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum as part of Sydney Design Festival
Opening at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences’ Powerhouse Museum on 2 March 2018 to celebrate the twentieth Sydney Design Festival, Common Good explores design trends and issues in Australia and the Asia-pacific. Designers from a range of disciplines and countries are profiled, including leading international designers and architects Nendo, Studio Swine, Bijoy Jain, Jungyou Choi (work pictured above), Jo Nagasaka, Kwangho Lee and WOHA, as well as globally recognized local designers Ken Wong, Lucy Mcrae and Henry Wilson. The exhibition is framed by five themes informed by current challenges: “Life Cycles,” “Return to Craft,” Connected Experience,” “Community Engagement” and “Design Fictions.”
