Longsong by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects with John van Haandel
Longsong, designed by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects with John van Haandel, has opened above the longrunning restaurant Longrain in Melbourne’s Chinatown, in what was once a stable loft for more than forty-five horses. The bar combines soaring ceilings and bespoke furniture settings with a sea of floating Chiang Mai-style lanterns by lighting designer Jan Flook. The building’s heritage character, including the brickwork of the original stable floors, has been preserved.
