Kosaten by Cumulus Studio
Similar to the traditional restaurants of Kyoto’s old city, the Kosaten restaurant in Launceston, Tasmania has been designed by Cumulus Studio as a hidden sanctuary, surprising visitors with an unexpected, high-sensory dining experience. On entry, visitors notice a series of interactive, “tech-forward” dining spaces, separated by contrasting murals and graphics by Melbourne’s Daisylegs. The restaurant features automated delivery tracks, tablet ordering systems and digital projections that reflect changes in season, creating an entertaining experience. Photography — Renee Hodskiss
