Lexus Design Pavilion 2018

The design for the Lexus Design Pavilion at the 2018 Melbourne Cup Carnival was based on the theme of “Utopia.” The pavilion was a collaboration between many designers and creatives, including Joost Bakker, The Big Group, Grazia and Co, Volker Haug Studio, Jack Merlo Landscape Design, Studio Twocan, Cecilia Fox and Anna-wili Highfield. The pavilion included a 76-seat restaurant, bars, an outdoor balcony overlooking Flemington racecourse and bespoke lighting and furniture by Australian designers.
