GOMA Chair by Luxxbox

Brisbane design studio Luxxbox has designed a new chair exclusively for the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) at the Queensland Art Gallery. The GOMA Chair, formed of finely crafted Queensland hoop pine, now takes pride of place in the gallery’s restaurant. Luxxbox founder and creative director Jason Bird said the chair was developed in close collaboration with the gallery. “It’s resulted in a quintessentially Queensland product,” he said, “from material and creative design, through to manufacture and installation.”
