Willing Coffee by Ohlo Studio

Responding to a brief for a classic Italian cafe “designed like a jewellery box,” Ohlo Studio has created a space that brings together coffee, cycling and mid-century Italian design. The details were inspired by industrial design from the 1950s and ‘60s, when mechanical equipment was transformed to be appealing in a household environment. The cafe counter is formed of folded stainless steel, which wraps around a Persian red travertine front. The natural stone and curved timber seating add a soft, natural dimension to the venue.
