LOL Space by Curated Spaces

Melbourne-based creative collective Ladies of Leisure (LOL) opened the doors to their brand new workshop and studio space in Fitzroy called LOL Space. The team brought on Curated Space’s Pip Newell, who envisioned the bold colour palette and sourced the majority of the furnishings secondhand. “We wanted to create a space that felt good to be in, which aligned with the LOL philosophies of warmth and inclusivity,” Newall says. “The priority was to have a space for the community to feel safe in, to share their ideas in and to foster their creativity in. The result is a space that is vibrant yet inviting that I think is unlike anything else in Melbourne at the moment.”
