Xila kitchen system from Boffi

Designed by Luigi Massoni in 1972, the Xila modular kitchen system is recognized as among the masterpieces of Italian design. It was the first kitchen available without visible handles, but with bands of aluminium to allow cupboard doors to be opened. Boffi has recently opened a showroom in Melbourne’s Collingwood, featuring high-end kitchen, bathroom, furniture and systems. The showroom is situated in a former gospel hall and is accentuated by the soaring pressed metal ceilings and original architectural details.
