Scrunch by Kin Architects
► An old nightclub in Brisbane’s West End has been converted into a workplace for technology company Scrunch. The fitout by Kin Architects honours the warehouse space, formerly home to live music venue Hi-fi, by using plants to enhance the building’s sense of theatre. A variety of styles and sizes of work zones allows employees to work collaboratively or alone. The workplace has been designed to also accommodate networking events in the evenings. Desks can be rolled under the stage, while terraces above offer larger crowds a tiered view of the stage. The nightclub’s VIP room is now the conference room and the ticket booth is now the mail room.
