The Albert Hotel by Tess Regan Design

► The Albert Hotel in Mosman, New South Wales, is a small boutique hotel completed at the end of February 2020. The project involved the refurbishment of the historic Telopea estate and construction of a new interconnecting four-storey building. The hotel is comprised of six unique heritage suites, 20 modern rooms, and a communal dining room that flows onto the restored heritage verandah and guest courtyard. The Albert Hotel is an exploration of past and present and, through a play on “light and dark” design concepts, the designers have managed to create a seamless transition between what is old and what is new.
