Thynk showroom by X Plus O

▼ X Plus O has designed a three-level showroom for Thynk in Beresfield, New South Wales, that highlights the supplier’s offerings – tiles, timber, carpet and window coverings – through a series of memorable, immersive zones. The design of the showroom caters to all customers, from project home builders to individuals, architects and designers, with different zones mapped out for each customer and product group. Upon entry, customers experience the latest products in constantly changing, oversized feature panels, akin to an art gallery installation. Immersive displays, including fully functional kitchens and bathrooms, line the edges of the showroom, while retail product displays occupy the centre in minimalistic, low-height framed gondolas. Each zone is designed to be ephemeral in nature, with finishes changing out to showcase new materials periodically.
