Sunday Afternoon textiles by Città

Città’s Spring Summer 20/21 textile collection, evocatively named Sunday Afternoon, is based on the beauty and pleasure found in the rituals of everyday life. Tactile textures are paired with illustrations of garden flowers, sculptural forms drawn from familiar objects and scenes inspired by daily life. The designs were originally hand-painted in Città’s Auckland studio. “With this new collection, we’ve focused strongly on the use of natural materials and traditional weaving techniques to celebrate craftsmanship,” says Imogen Tunnicliffe, Città’s head of textile design.
