► The iconic TON Bentwood Armchair 811 was designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1930 and has retained its status as a cult classic ever since. An amalgamation of Hoffmann’s interest in Art Nouveau and simple shapes, it was first – and is still – manufactured at TON, the oldest Michael Thonet factory in Bystrice pod Hostynem.
