RMBL by Golden
Located in Melbourne’s Dandenong, above a public library, RMBL’S level-four workspace was designed to get the team working in an open, collaborative environment. The design includes three built offices and meeting rooms, and a wellness room for employees to relax and unwind. The sound throughout the office was an important part of the fitout by Golden, who worked closely with an acoustic consultant to ensure all private areas, such as the phone booth, offered optimum noise insulation. The team installed white-noise signals in the key hub areas to counterbalance active noise in the environment. LOW-VOC fabric (made from recycled plastic bottles) was applied to desks in these areas to create visual separation and to improve the acoustics, while circular flooring pads help with zoning and wayfinding through the space.
