► For the Viktoria & Woods store in Chadstone shopping centre, Golden sought to create a minimal and restrained interior as a calming contrast to the intensity of its surrounds. Conveying the essence of the Viktoria & Woods ethos, the space is effortless, minimalist and modern. The openness and symmetry of the layout supports a fluid customer journey, and simple, refined joinery is elevated by textural, luxurious natural materials. The store is inviting and calm, with illuminated clothing rails and shoe plinths around the perimeter creating a gallery-like environment in which to showcase the product.
