Jetty Bar and Eats by Kate Archibald

◄ Jetty Bar and Eats is nestled on the bank of the Swan River in Fremantle, neighbouring the famous Fremantle port. The historic and cultural significance of the port played a dynamic role in creating the interiors for Jetty; the palette draws on imagery of overexposed, washed-out pastel shipping containers. The design team wanted to create a space with a Mediterranean feeling, with a clean, crisp edge. The result sees bright, open spaces, with elements such as custom fibreglass lights to warm the large stainless-steel-clad bars. The designers also consciously used materials such as stainless steel and fibreglass to hark back to the site’s marine location.
