Abacus Espresso by Iota

▲ Making its home in Electric Lane – a vibrant new hospitality precinct at the heart of the inner-city Perth suburb of Leederville – is Abacus Espresso. The cafe caters to the high volume of office workers and showroom visitors that now frequent the precinct thanks to its recent transformation. Operable south-facing windows connect the interior to the energy of the adjacent laneway and neighbouring venues. Generous ceiling volumes transition with a sweeping curve to create a feeling of spaciousness that belies the cafe’s compact footprint, while the palette is grounded with a base of rich terracotta and warm honey oak against limewashed wall surfaces.
