Chumbes cushions from Halcyon Lake

◥ Designed by Mae Engelgeer, the Chumbes cushion collection takes inspiration from the Chumbe Inga, a traditional Colombian garment with characteristic symbols. Comprising of bolster, medium, large and floor cushions, the collection is handmade using natural cotton and fine metallic yarns. The ribbed structures create a unique graphic composition that follows a deeply rooted weaving technique specific to the Sibundoy region. Ethically woven by hand, the Chumbes collection is a testament to the skill and knowledge of the local artisans, who craft each cushion individually. Available in two colour variations.
