The three holy mountains of Xiannairi (Chenresig, meaning compassion in Tibetan) at 6,032 metres, Xianuoduoji (Chana Dorje, meaning power in Tibetan) at 5958 metres and Yangmaiyong (Jampelyang, meaning wisdom in Tibetan) at 5,958 metres, are located in the Yading Nature Reserve (Nyingden in Tibetan) in the Kham region of Sichuan in Daocheng county. One of the most beautiful places in the Tibetan plateau, it is known as China’s Shangri-la.
